FIREFIGHTERS freed a road crash casualty after she became trapped in an overturned car.
The vehicle was discovered on its side on Langwith Road, Scarcliffe, about 9am, on Thursday, January 10.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the female casualty.”
Police and an ambulance attended the crash scene and the casualty was taken to Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
Bolsover and Shirebrook firefighters, who attended the incident, made the crash scene safe by about 9.30am.
