Rotary event shrugs off wet weather to raise £2,000
Forty colourful stalls filled the Pavilion Gardens’ Octagon for Rotary Club of Buxton’s annual summer fair and charity bazaar on Saturday.
The event, opened by High Peak Mayor Alan Barrow, was an opportunity for local charities and voluntary organisations to raise funds, attract support or simply offer information about their activities.
In the region of £2,000 was raised for participating charities.
