Roll up for the annual Chatsworth Road Festival of fun

Attractions to suit all tastes and all ages is promised at Chesterfield's annual Chatsworth Road Festival, which is fast approaching.

Now in its sixth year, the four-day festival of fun takes place between Thursday, September 29 and Sunday, October 2 and aims to promote the businesses and organisations based in the vibrant west of the town.

“The area is a rel gem, with great pubs and restaurants and an eclectic mix of shops that sell everything from Wellington boots to wedding dresses,” says spokesman Howard Borrell.

More than 100 activities, promotions and competitions are scheduled, including a fashion show, a food market, tea-tasting, live music, a brass band and an I-spy competition for children. The festival also coincides with the Chesterfield Half-Marathon on the Sunday.
