Commuters and residents are being warned about delays on the A61 Dronfield bypass this afternoon, Wednesday, October 15, just before rush-hour after a crash between a car and a motorcycle.
The collision happened about 4.10pm, today, Wednesday, October 15, on the northbound stretch of the A61 which has been temporarily closed by police and emergency services.
A police spokesman said that the motorcyclist is believed to have suffered a hand injury and an air ambulance was called out to the scene.
Traffic has been reported to be at a standstill as emergency services deal with the casualty and the crash site.
Witnesses can call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101 to help establish exactly what happened.
