RIPLEY: Greenhillocks Fellowship’s birthday double

David Hill opened the Greenhillocks Fellowship meeting for which Vernon Vahta played the piano. Sheila Cotton read the report and welcomed a new member in Beryl Patton.

Marion Slack remembered the sick by referring to Kath Brown and Margaret Copeland.

She led the birthday celebrations for Barbara Basford and Vernon Vahta.

Marion read a poem “Flatmate”.

Reader for the Day was Ann Hill with “If I Won The Lottery”.

Guest speaker was Kirsty Cockerall with “Saving Electricity and Safety In the Home”. Sheila Cotton voiced the vote of thanks.

Ann and David Hill were in charge of the free raffle.
