RIPLEY: Greenhillocks Fellowship entertained by broadcaster Alex Bellfield

Broadcaster and entertainer Alex Bellfield played tapes of interviews he had carried out with the stars and sang songs associated with them when he was the guest at the Ripley Greenhillocks Fellowship meeting.

David Hill opened the meeting and Vernon Vahta played piano resulting in a vote of thanks from Keith Naylor.

Marion Slack reported that Elizabeth Clark and Grace Fake were absent due to illness.

Ann and David Hill conducted the drawing of the free raffle as they did the previous week when Roy Kelly was the guest with a mixture of 60s music which had the members dancing in the aisles.

Ann Hill was the reader of the day at that meeting with Marion Revill celebrating a birthday and Sheila and Colin Cresswell a wedding anniversary.

Doug Fake provided hot cross buns at the pre-Easter meeting.
