Four people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after a 30-year-old man died in Ripley.
Emergency services were called to a pathway which runs from Mill Hill School to Pease Hill Road at about 12.45pm on Tuesday.
Two men, aged 30 and 43, were found to be unwell by paramedics and were taken to Kingsmill Hospital.
The 30-year-old man was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital. His death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
The 43-year-old was later released from hospital.
Four people, two men and two women, were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and remain in police custody.
