As ever, Ripley Scouts have been active of late with the troop taking part in a Chilly Challenge at Drum Hill, the district cooking competition and, with some youngsters from Codnor, in a quiz.

The Ladybower Beavers have been working towards their experimental activity badge making door hangers, money boxes and Mother’s Day cards. They also celebrated Baden Powell’s birthday and the Chinese New Year.

Alpha Pack have been working towards their scientist activity badge besides doing some basic first aid. Flowers were planted in a pot for Mother’s Day.
