Members of the public are being urged to attend a public exhibition at Duckmanton Primary School, on West Crescent, Duckmanton, between 3pm and 7pm on Monday, March 24.

Eliot Davies, project manager at RES, said: “We are eager to discuss the proposal with as many local people as possible.

“We will be providing information to help people understand in more detail what we are proposing and why we consider this site to be suitable for solar electricity generation.”

The Hertfordshire-based firm will consider feedback from the public before submitted a planning application for the solar farm later this spring.

RES is one of the world’s leading independent renewable energy companies.
