NEW landlord and landlady Paul Felstead and Anna Lutajeva are inviting customers to help them raise cash for their local village school by joining them on a charity horse race evening.

The couple, who have been running the Tickled Trout, at Barlow, for over four months are determined to make the pub part of the community and want to start by supporting The Barlow Church of England Primary School and Barlow Pre-School with a fundraiser at the pub.

Paul said: “We are trying to become an integral part of the community and want to help out the local good causes as best we can, so we are holding a Charity Horse Race Night.

“We will be holding the event in our recently refurbished function room and the races will be shown on our BIG screen in digital surround-sound.”

Fundraising customers will be able to enjoy a free buffet during the event from 8pm, on Saturday, April 13, and a raffle and any donations for the school will be gratefully accepted.
