Police release CCTV stills following Heanor shop theft

Officers investigating theft from a store in Heanor have now released CCTV stills of a couple they would like to speak to.

At around 2.50pm on Friday, February 19, a man and a woman entered the Boyes supermarket on Market Street, Heanor and began to look around the aisle.

The woman then began to fill a large bag with cleaning products as the man appeared to attempt to hide her from view.

The woman was described as white with blonde hair. The man was also white and wore a dark coloured jacket and a dark beanie hat.

The couple were challenged by staff at the store and left empty handed.

Police have since released CCTV stills of a man and a woman they would like to trace in connection with the theft.
