Police investigate the theft a teen's bicycle from outside a shop

Police are appealing for information after a 13-year-old boy's mountain bike was stolen from outside a shop.

The bicycle was taken from outside the pavilion shop in Manor Park, Glossop, at around 4.30pm, on Saturday, June 10.

PCSO Ann Morris, of the Glossop Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “If anyone has any information about this incident, or if they saw anything suspicious please contact us.

“We would also like to remind youngsters to be a bit wary, and to not leave bikes, scooters or skateboards unattended and insecure. Lock them up if you have to leave them, as it can only take a few minutes for them to be stolen.”

The bike is a black, B’Twin Rockrider.
