A pensioner injured in a road traffic collision in Chesterfield has died in hospital.
At 2.20pm on Friday December 7 a road traffic collision took place on St John’s Road, Chesterfield between a Mitsubishi pick-up truck and a 79-year-old pedestrian.
The man suffered a fractured pelvis and was taken to hospital in Chesterfield. He died on the evening of Tuesday, December 11.
Derbyshire police have started an investigation into the circumstances of the collision and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed it.
