Peak mountain rescue teams get government funding
High Peak MP Andrew Bingham and colleagues from the parliamentary group on mountain rescue teams won renewed government support of £200,000 a year on Friday, to cover the VAT on equipment.
The funding, first won in 2011, was due to end this year. Andrew and his colleagues have been campaigning to get the support extended for over a year now.
