A STUNNING collection of photographs showcasing some of the county’s most beautiful scenes is to go on show.
The exhibition, called ‘Winster and Around’, will display images shot by the chief executive of the Peak District National Park Authority, Jim Dixon, of the landscapes around his Winster home.
He said: “Most of the images are of the landscape in the Winster, Hartington, Matlock, Stanton area and reflect my love of the countryside around Winster. It also includes images of the village itself which is one of the most interesting architecturally in Derbyshire with the highest concentration of listed buildings in the county.”
The exhibition is at the Burton Institute, Winster on Saturday, October 29 from 4-8pm and Sunday, October 30 from 2-6pm.
