CHESTERFIELD based company inspirepac has exercised its strength and dominance with a double win at a prestigious print awards ceremony.

The company, which is the market leader in corrugated packaging, won gold in the corrugated post print-coated process category and the Best in Show award at this year’s European Flexographic Industry Association Print Awards.

Chief executive officer Chris Marples, of inspirepac, said: “Looking at the quality of award entries, there are so many businesses within the industry that are constantly delivering outstanding results so we are absolutely delighted to be recognised.”

The company, which is part of the Logson Group, won the award for their design of Pepsico’s Doritos Fire and Ice 3 stacker packs.

Multi-award winner inspirepac specialises in supplying creative corrugated packaging solutions including retail ready packaging and point of sale and promotional displays.

The business operates from sites in Chesterfield, Runcorn and Wetherby where they employ a collective total of over 900 people and boast an annual turnover of £200m.

The awards competition was celebrating EFIA’s 40th anniversary and over 500 people from the flexo industry arrived at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium on March 21 to take part.

The event featured a glittering presentation and was designed to recognise innovation and outstanding excellance in the flexographic industry.

Mr Marples added: “The team at inspirepac is thrilled to have won two awards at this coveted event.

“We have a tradition of being at the forefront of printing evolution, pioneering the application of a new generation of flexographic printing technology.

“Our solutions have inspired our customers to think beyond traditional printing routes when exploring retail ready packaging, point of sale and brand led corrugated packaging.”

EIFA praised inspirepac and all EIFA members.
