Outseats Parish Council held its monthly meeting at which Cllr Jane Marsden was re-appointed chairman of the council, and Cllr Pauline Whitney vice-chairman, for the forthcoming year.
The casual vacancy for a councillor was filled by the co-option of Mr David Palmer. It was agreed which councillors will represent Outseats on various other bodies. T
Mrs Jo Wood, from Hathersage School governors, gave her termly report on school matters.
A planning application from Severn Trent Water for a telemetry control kiosk was decided to be acceptable.
The council discussed how much to spend on footpaths maintenance in the parish this year.
It was noted that the county council is still considering the parish’s proposals for additional no-parking yellow lines markings.
