A DERBYSHIRE arts group is celebrating after one of its projects clinched a top title.

Junction Arts’ latest scheme, Old School, has been awarded an Inspire mark which recognises projects inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics Games.

The project, involving pupils from Stubbin Wood School and Shirebrook Academy, will promote the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect.

It will see youngsters working together to create an exhibition on the history of the current Shirebrook Academy before pupils move into a new school in 2013.
