Green–fingered youngsters have been doing their bit for the environment by planting trees.
Pupils from Hague Bar School, Lower Hague, planted fruit trees in Hague Bar Park.
This latest planting is part of the Orchard’s Branching Out project.
The children walked from the school to the site and after a brief explanation from Lance Dowson, chairman of the Orchard Group, were eager to start planting.
The children planted various varieties of apple trees including James Grieve and Worcester Permain.
