RESIDENTS living in Hathersage and the Hope Valley are being asked to suggest priorities for their local police and partner organisations to target.

The Safer Neighbourhood policing teams which cover villages and rural areas across the area are holding their quarterly meetings in the next fortnight.

It is a chance for residents to raise any concerns and find out what issues the team have been targeting in recent months.

People living in Hathersage, Calver, Curbar, Frogatt and the surrounding area town, are invited to attend the meeting at Bradwell community police office, Netherside, on Thursday, December 15 at 6pm.

For residents in the Hope Valley, including Castleton, Hope, Edale, Bamford, Derwent and the surrounding areas, the meeting will take place at 11am on Wednesday, December 21 at Hope Clinic on Eccles Road, Hope.

If you cannot attend the meeting but would like to raise an issue for the team call 101, the police non-emergency number or alternatively visit the website: www.derbyshire.police.uk to check which Safer Neighbourhood area you live in, and email your team.
