Motorcyclist hospitalised after crash

A MOTORCYCLIST suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital after he was involved in a collision with a people carrier.

The collision happened between a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a black Vauxhall Zafira outside Willow Tree Farm, on Langwith Road, Shirebrook, about 3.45pm, on Thursday, September 8.

Derbyshire Constabulary told how the 30 year-old motorcyclist received serious head and leg injuries and he was taken to King’s Mill Hospital, at Sutton-in-Ashfield.
