The annual event at the Olde House, Chesterfield, was organised by the Rotary Club of Chesterfield.
President John Keeton said: “Once again the quality of entrants was very high and the students made it a very enjoyable and entertaining occasion.”
A presentation was made to retiring Netherthorpe teacher Chris Townsend in recognition of his support for Rotary’s public speaking competition for the last 27 years.
This year’s event was organised by past president Bryan White as part of the club’s vocational service programme.
