A pair of daredevils have bungee jumped 300 ft to raise money for charities close to their hearts.
Matlock residents Nicole Evans and Melissa Gilbert took the plunge on Sunday.
Nicole, of Warren Carr, overcame her fear of heights in order to raise money for Ashgate Hospice. The 18–year–old teaching assistant has so far drummed up £557.
She said: “Ashgate Hospice is a great charity which helped my family through tough times when my grandad was terminally ill in 2007.”
Melissa, of Darley Avenue, also took part in the bungee jump in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. The 20-year-old student has so far raised £275 for the charity.
Melissa said: “Cancer has affected a lot of my family and without the support from Macmillan you can feel alone.”
