“You are not going to prison today - you are a lucky man. We recognise you need some support to deal with your issues.
“Do you understand what I have said?” the magistrate asked. Jeffery replied: “Yes, sir.”
Police found 200 videos of a woman “in stages of undress,” said Hannah Strawson, prosecuting.

Euan Edwards, mitigating, described it as “a sensitive case” and pointed out that Jeffery had never been in trouble before. A probation report had been prepared on him.
He said Jeffery had not tried to pass on the images to other people, showed “genuine remorse” and pleaded guilty immediately.
“Mr Jeffery expects to go to prison. That has been hanging over him for a period of time and rightly so,” said Mr Edwards.

If Jeffery went to prison, said Mr Edwards, he would not be inside for long enough to complete the course of treatment.
Mr Edwards told the court in Nottingham: “It would be a constructive sentence and a sentence with an element of punishment. Mr Jeffery accepts that.
“It is a hefty ask and not a light option. The most important factor is probably the length of the order. If probation feels he needs any top-up in terms of further work they can do that in the three-year order.”
