Police are appealing for witnesses after a man indecently exposed himself in Cutthorpe, Chesterfield.

A woman was walking her dog in Linacre Woods on Woodnook Lane, near to the lower reservoir, when she 'saw a man emerge from behind a tree and indecently expose himself.', said Derbyshire police.

The woman then ran off towards the Holme Hall area.

A spokesperson added: "The incident happened between 12.30pm and 1pm on Monday, November 9. The man is described as white, in his late 50s, of medium build with grey stubble and wearing thick glasses, a black beanie hat and a black jacket."

Anyone with information or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident is urged to contact PC Craig Allinson on 101, quoting incident number 246/09/11/2015.
