Man found with stab wounds in Chesterfield area

Police in Chesterfield are appealing for information to find out how a man received stab wounds during an argument in Heath.

Officers were called to flats on Moorland Drive shortly before 10pm on Tuesday March 22.

They found a 45-year-old local man suffering from puncture wounds to his chest but it’s unclear what happened.

Police said: "Two men aged 31 and 33 and a 29-year-old woman, who all live locally, were arrested on suspicion of assault. They were questioned and released on police bail while inquiries continue.

"Detective Constable Antonia Hill would like to hear from anyone who has information about the argument. She’d particularly like to hear from two men who were in the foyer of the flats at the time but have not yet come forward."
