A BOLSOVER man has appeared in court charged with an act of voyeurism.
Daniel Emmerson is accused of placing a camera in the ceiling above a unisex toilet cubicle at Clowne College.
Emmerson (27) of Castle Lane, Bolsover, made a brief appearance before magistrates at Chesterfield on Monday.
He was charged with voyeurism in that he allegedly recorded another person doing a private act, intending to obtain sexual gratification from looking at an image of that act.
He entered a plea of not guilty to the offence which was alleged to have taken place on March 22 of last year.
Magistrates adjourned the case until November 4 when it is expected to be committed to Derby Crown Court for trial.
Emmerson was granted bail.
