Blythe House Hospice department store in Whaley Bridge celebrated a successful first year of trading last week with a Mad Hatter Tea Party.

Shop volunteers were joined by members of the public and hospice staff, who enjoyed refreshments, browsed the wide selection of clothing, bric-a-brac, books and furniture in store, and were amazed by the entries in the Mad Hat competition.

Blythe House Hospice has four charity shops: Chapel-en-le-Frith, Buxton, New Mills and Whaley Bridge.
