Young business brains run Chesterfield market

YOUNG entrepeneurs will flog their ideas on Chesterfield market this week.

Business brains from schools across the area are forming their own companies as part of the The North Derbyshire Young Enterprise Trade Fair.

It will be held this Thursday February 28 at Rykneld Square, from 9am to 4pm.

Sixth form students will promote and sell their ideas for one year as part of the Young Enterprise Scheme.

Schools taking part include St Marys RC High School, Brookfield School, Chesterfield College, Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School, Newbold Community School, Mount St Marys College, Netherthorpe School and Tupton Hall School.

The trade stands will be judged by local business leaders and is the first stage of the Young Enterprise competition.
