Woman has purse snatched in Chesterfield
Police are investigating a street robbery after an offender snatched a purse from a female in a Chesterfield.
The male offender asked the female for change, on Chatsworth Road, near Chatsworth nursing home, about 7pm, on Saturday, before grabbing her purse.
A police spokesman said: "The offender escaped towards Old Hall Road and we're appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident or this man to call us as soon as possible."
The man was described as white, aged 18 to 24, of thin build, wearing a dark-coloured jacket and dark-coloured trousers and a cream-coloured woolly hat.
