Woman receives warning following drugs warrant in Pilsley

A woman has received a warning after drugs were found at a home in Pilsley.

Its after officers from the North Wingfield, Pilsley, Stonebroom and Shirland Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a warrant at the address on Broom Avenue on Friday, December 21.

A small quantity of Cannabis was found along with a number of pills which have been seized for testing.

The 23 year old from Chesterfield was given a warning for possession of a Class B drug.

Team Sergeant Aidan Stones said: “We carried out the warrant at the address following information and concerns from the community about drug misuse.

“If anyone has any information about suspected illegal drug activity then please contact us.”
