Wedding Planner named best in East Midlands
A DERBYSHIRE wedding planner has been recognised in the Wedding Industry Awards 2012.
Lisa Hilliard, of Lisa Hilliard Wedding Planning was named best planner in the East Midlands at the prestigous industry awards, after receiving votes from happy couples who she helped along to their special day.
She beat off five other entrants to claim the title, and is now shortlisted for the national award – Best Wedding Planner UK, which will be announced on January 18.
Lisa said: “I am so proud to have been recognised, especially by my customers, that is always the biggest compliment!
“I have worked hard since launching my business in 2008 and continue to work with amazing couples, creating their perfect day, loving every minute.”
The award comes after Lisa was named runner up in the Young Business Person of the Year category at the Derbyshire Times business awards in November 2011.
