Missing Peak stone is found

AN historic landmark which vanished from the top of a listed monument at a Peak District beauty spot has been found.

The capstone from the 270-year-old Hope Cross, which marks the boundary of the villages of Hope and Edale, disappeared after Christmas.

It was found dumped in a roadside passing place near Bradwell.
