Honours for Derbyshire people

Derbyshire's former Lord Lieutenant John Bather has been honoured in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

Mr Bather was given the Royal Victorian Order in recognition of his service to the Royal Family.

Margaret Miles-Bramwell, the founder of Alfreton-based Slimming World, receives the OBE for her charity work, services to the community and to weight management.

And Sheila Humphreys, from the Hope Valley, has been made an MBE for services to the Longshaw Sheep Dog Trials Association.
