HOLMEWOOD: Warning for man after drugs warrant

A man has received a warning after police carried out a drugs warrant at a property in Holmewood.

Officers from the Holmewood, Grassmoor and Calow and Arkwright Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a warrant at the address on Compton Street on Tuesday, January 22.

A small amount of Cannabis was seized and a 19 year old man from the local area was given a warning for possession of a Class B drug.

Anyone with information relating to drugs or any other crime can call Derbyshire police on 101, the non emergency number, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
