Hathersage group plays it for laughs
High Peak actors are hoping to have the audience rolling in the aisle with their latest show.
Hathersage Players are staging the former West End hit Run For Your Wife at the village's memorial hall until Saturday.
The Ray Cooney farce, which follows the story of a taxi driver after he intervenes in a mugging and gets a blow to the head, includes tales of confusion, mistaken identity and entangled relationships.
A spokesman for the troupe said: "After our successful pantomime, Robin Hood, Hathersage Players are sticking to the laughter trail with the assured success of a farce by that master of comedy Ray Cooney."
