Hathersage firefighters extinguished a blazing car fire in a pub car park and cleared up a dangerous diesel and oil spillage.
The crew discovered the blaze at the Fox House pub car park, just above Hathersage, about 10.40am, on Sunday, August 18.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “One saloon car was well alight and crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.”
Police were in attendance and a Derbyshire fire service environmental unit was called in from Alfreton and the Environmental Agency was requested due to concerns about the fuel run-off.
Emergency services worked with the Environment Agency to carry out the clean-up during the day.
