HASLAND: Schoolboy airlifted to hospital

A schoolboy has been airlifted to hospital following a road traffic collision in Hasland.
Eyewitnesses said the boy was crossing the road from Hasland park when he was in collision with a car earlier today.
An air ambulance landed in Hasland park and airlifted the boy, who is believed to be a pupil at Tupton Hall School, to Sheffield hospital.
His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
The B6038 road in Hasland was closed in both directions following the incident.
