DRONFIELD: Budding artists on right track with new display

ARTWORK designed by youngsters is to be showcased at Dronfield Railway Station.

The Friends of Dronfield Station group is launching an initiative to showcase artwork while encouraging more awareness of the railway station and its train services.

Specially designed display cases will be houses in newly repainted waiting shelters at the station.

A £1,200 Community Leadership Grant from Derbyshire County Council and the cooperation of train operator Northern Rail has supported the project.

The show will be officially opened on Wednesday March 20 with artwork from Dronfield Junior and Infant schools.
