Cops appeal for information after theft

POLICE have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an investigation into the theft of Blu-Ray films, games and books from Sainsbury’s store, in Ripley.

The offence happened between 7.45pm and 8.45pm, on Wednesday, January 11, when an offender put items in two shopping trolleys and left the store with one of the trolleys without paying for the goods.

Anyone who recognises the man in the image should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
