CLOWNE: Police probe burglary

TWO men have been arrested and released on police bail pending further enquiries after an alleged burglary at a disused pub.

The suspected break-in was discovered at the White Hart Inn, on High Street, Clowne, about 9pm, on Tuesday, January 22.

A 27-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both from the Clowne area, were arrested under suspicion of committing the suspected burglary after police said they found a bag full of copper piping.

Witnesses or anyone with information can call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
