editorial image

An auction will raise funds for a Chesterfield mum’s cancer treatment.

The event will take place at the Chesterfield Hotel at 7pm on April 5 to boost funds for the Amanda Carty Cancer Trust.

Mum-of-two Amanda has a rare form of brain cancer and requires treatment costing £200,000 over a two-year period.

The auction will include a number of items including sport and concert tickets, celebrity-signed items and a night in Shropshire.

Tickets cost £5 each and are available from the Chesterfield Hotel, the Amanda Carty Cancer Trust shop at Storforth Lane Trading Estate, Estate Tyres at Storforth Lane Trading Estate, Marsh Green Farm Shop at Kelstedge, Hairdayz at Grassmoor, Aveeka on Derby Road, Kate’s Pantry in Hasland, Silhouettes at Brimington and Sorted for Safety on Whittington Moor.

Organisers are looking for local bands or singers who would be able to provide live music at the auction. If you are interested, email Roger Carty at 105raw@live.co.uk.
