A SCHOOLBOY was rescued by firefighters after he became stuck up a tree.

The five-year-old Hady Primary pupil had to be cut free after getting stuck up the four meter high tree, on playing fields on Hady Lane, Chesterfield.

Chesterfield fire crews were called to the scene, at around 3.45pm on Wednesday (June 20) where they spent around thirty minutes getting the boy down. No ambulance was required.
