Book to fund new ramp
An author hopes her new children's book can help her village church buy a much-needed disability ramp.
Betty Dye has promised to donate all profits she makes from The Winter of Magical Letters to Ambergate Church’s campaign to build the 26,000 ramp.
The book tells the story of a shy boy’s attempts to outwit a computer crook, beat school bullies and solve the mysteries surrounding his own life.
The Winter of Magical Letters will be available in shops from July 10.
