BOLSOVER: Appeal to trace woman who witnessed sexual assault 30 years ago
Police in Bolsover are trying to trace a woman who witnessed a sexual assault that took place over 30 years ago.
Officers are looking for a woman who went by the name Angela Moore and grew up in the Bolsover area.
She is white and had strawberry blonde hair at the time.
It is understood she was a witness to a serious sexual assault that took place during the summer of 1979 or 1980 and police would like to speak to her about it.
Angela and her family moved to Aberdeen, Scotland, in the early 1980s.
Officers believe Angela is now between 43 and 46-years-old and may still be living in Scotland. She is known to have trained as a hairdresser, working in London for a short time before returning to Scotland to the Kilmarnock area.
Derbyshire police would like to speak to anyone locally who knew Angela and is still in contact with her or anyone who knows her now.
Angela, or anyone with information about her whereabouts, is asked to contact Detective Constable Russ Garner of Derbyshire police on 101.
