FELL RUNNING and the great outdoors are the inspiration behind an exhibition in Hayfield tonight (Thursday).

The Arts and Hearts Valentine event, being held at the village’s cricket pavilion, will feature work by artists Vincent Booth, Rod Holt, Geoff Read, Claire Parker, Mick Wren and Alison Hargreaves.

It will raise money for the Women Vs Cancer charity and is open from 8pm to 10pm.

It is hoped it can be the first of a series of exhibitions supporting local artists and raising money for charity.
