Arrive early for light show

Derbyshire Dales District Council is advising visitors to arrive early for the finale of a popular lights festival.

This year’s Matlock Bath illuminations season ends on Saturday night.

A council spokesman said: “It’s going to be busy! Our message to visitors is arrive early for the 2012 finale, which ends with a clifftop fireworks display.”

Tickets for the event, which starts at 7pm, will be available on the night.
