Appeal over missing stone

CONSERVATIONISTS are appealing for help to find a historic landmark which has vanished from the top of a listed monument at a Peak District beauty spot.

The capstone from the 270-year-old Hope Cross, which marks the boundary of the villages of Hope and Edale, disappeared after Christmas.
