Abseil event

Dales thrill-seekers are being urged to participate in an adrenaline-fuelled fundraising event for a Derbyshire charity.

On Sunday, March 24, visual impairment service provider Sight Support Derbyshire is offering people the chance to abseil from Millers Dale Bridge.

Towering over 80ft over the River Wye, Millers Dale Bridge is arguably one of the most iconic landmarks in the Peak District.

To join in the fundraising effort contact fundraising@sightsupportderbyshire.org.uk or ring 01332 287027.

Registration costs £10.

Debbie Haynes, fundraising and marketing coordinator, said: “Losing your sight can be a traumatic and distressing experience, but nobody needs to go through it alone.

“Your sponsorship is vitally important in helping Sight Support Derbyshire continue its work.”
