LETTER: We are being treated as a ‘dumping ground’

Letters.
Letters.

As a resident of Barrow Hill I would like to voice my anger at the council’s approvel of a recycling plant on Campbell Drive, Barrowhill.
All my 56 years I have been surrounded by tips and all that go with them, disgusting smells rats etc.
Growing up and breathing in all those fumes is bound to impact on health, I believe. Derbyshire and Chesterfield council use Barrowhill as a dumping ground and show no respect for the residents, in my view. Barrowhill will never improve and prosper until the council say enough is enough for this village.
